Tried out fake dreads.

First I rope braided small sections of damp hair and left them in overnight.

Then I took them out and finger-combed them.

It is February. There is going to be more snow. And balancing 5 canvases as I battle with other pedestrians for the shoveled parts of the sidewalk.

At least I'm having a lot of fun in my painting class. I was struggling, struggling, struggling and all of a sudden I managed to bang out 4 paintings.

Unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture without a horrible glare so the second image is truer to the value but at least in this one it's kinda clearer that there's color in the black.
